Tazmanian Comics has been in business for over 25 years. In May 1986, Taz Comics was born into a 400 square foot location. Since then we've grown and expanded to our current massive store in East Vancouver.
Owner Keith Awcock manages the operation with his knowledgeable and helpful staff. Our spacious, wheelchair accessible, and well lit store provides a welcoming atmosphere for everyone from curious passersby to dedicated comic fans. Feel free to dig through our extensive collection of back issues, or ask a staff member for a recommendation. If you are looking for an old comic, a collectible or almost anything related to comics, gaming or memorabilia, we may have it in stock or can locate it for you.
We are located just west of Boundary Road on the south side of Hastings Street. We're practically across the street from Kootenay Loop bus stop. If you are coming by public transit, the #135 SFU (eastbound) stops right in front of the store.
Parking is available behind the store, which can be accessed by Kootenay Street or Boundary Road. You can also park along Hastings Street in front of the store before and after the afternoon rush period./p>
